Senior Detailing Specialist
Role: Permanent Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: Negotiable
The Detailing Specialists is a premium detailing business specializing in all vehicles, including cars, campervans, motorbikes, trucks and boats. Our comprehensive services range from general maintenance to meticulous show car preparation and everything in between. As an independent establishment, we prioritize quality over quantity, equipping our clients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their vehicles to our exacting standards.
As a Senior Detailing Specialist, you will provide a strong level of service to all customers through high-quality completion of vehicle detailing tasks, providing unmatched customer service and assisting with product sales. You will assist day-to-day administrative tasks, client quotes and bookings, and take on leadership responsibilities including fostering a positive work environment, ensuring quality control, and influencing timely project completion.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Execute high-quality vehicle grooming and detailing within specified time frames.
- Perform vehicle polishing, stone chip repairs, ceramic coatings and other services as required.
- Offer detailing advice to customers and sell products in our retail shop.
- Use our systems to manage customers, bookings, job time frames and sales leads.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Ensure effective communication by remaining positive and clear.​
- Maintain a clean and well-organised workspace.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and legislation; and assist with team health and safety.
- Conduct risk assessment and minimise hazards.
- As required, assist in the administration requirements of our store; including (but not limited to) maintaining clean work environment, managing quotes and bookings, and maintaining any relevant systems.
- Be willing and able to assist with social media content creation as required.
What We're Looking For​
​
- Previous detailing experience is required for this role. You will be competent in washing, interior cleaning and using a polishing machine. While not necessary, ceramic coating experience and/or stone chip repair experience is beneficial. You will have general knowledge of automotive detailing products, tools and techniques.
- Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results. Being focused on quality and taking advice from management to deliver the best possible results for our customers.
- Effective communication and ability to work well both in a team and independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills to be used within our company and externally with suppliers and clients.
- Technology fluent and able to learn and use systems both on computer, tablet and mobile for tracking day-to-day operations and communications.
- Previous administration and leadership skills are beneficial, although not required.​

Final Touch Technician
Role: Permanent Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary: $54,080 - $58,240
The Detailing Specialists is a premium detailing business specializing in all vehicles, including cars, campervans, motorbikes, trucks and boats. Our comprehensive services range from general maintenance to meticulous show car preparation and everything in between. As an independent establishment, we prioritize quality over quantity, equipping our clients with the knowledge and tools to maintain their vehicles to our exacting standards.
The Detailing Specialists are a licensed Final Touch SmartChip business. This means we use the proprietary SmartChip system to repair stone chips for visual enhancement, added value to vehicles and reduction on ongoing damage from exposed metal.

As a Final Touch Technician, you will perform high-quality paint correction services including machine cut/polishing, smartchip stone repairs, scratch removal, ceramic coatings and paint enhancement. There will be days where you assist the team with other detailing tasks at the workshop but your core role is based around our Final Touch SmartChip repair - and services a database of both trade/wholesale clients and private. You will be responsible for servicing and growing our wholesale client base.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Perform vehicle cut/ polishing, stone chip repairs, scratch removal, wet sanding and other detailing services as required.
- Match vehicle paint using our Final Touch SmartChip system and learn airbrushing and pencil brush techniques.
- Use our systems to manage customers, bookings, job time frames and sales leads.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Ensure effective communication by remaining positive and clear.​
- Maintain a clean and well-organised workspace.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies and legislation; and assist with team health and safety.
- Conduct risk assessment and minimise hazards.
- Help manage and grow our wholesale database by communicating and selling to trade, dealerships and other wholesale clients who can benefit from the Final Touch system we offer.
- Be willing and able to assist with social media content creation as required.
What We're Looking For​
​
- Previous detailing and/or machine polishing experience is beneficial for this role but not required.
- Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results. Being focused on quality while being able to perform under pressure and meet strict time frames and deadlines.
- Effective communication and ability to work well both in a team and independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills to be used within our company and externally with suppliers and clients.
- Technology fluent and able to learn and use systems both on computer, tablet and mobile for tracking day-to-day operations and communications.
- Previous sales and customer service experience could be beneficial; but not required.​
